Like something Trump would do? More like something Trump would have done to him if the regressives thought they could get away with it.
Just look at what they're doing to Julian Assange for exposing the DNC's corruption.
That's ironic because Trump wanted Assange assassinated or abducted by force.
That was Mike Pompeo and some "senior CIA officials". Trump considered pardoning Assange.

Trump needs to get a group of shadow advisers (not including his family) if they won't let him put his allies in official positions. Some former military general who would tell him exactly how to navigate around the military to get us out of Afghanistan, or people who could encourage him to do what the people want in spite of CIA pressure. I guess that last one is a tough ask.
