NotYourShield is a counter to identity politics. It's showing that not all people off various backgrounds adhere to the same ideas and that your skin colour doesn't dictacte your opinion. Like, how do you not understand this, 8 years later ?

Creating arbitrary identities in which you base your positions on is in fact identity politics. This may surprise you, but the word does have a definition beyond "that thing the bad people do." So "us good KIAer/GGers and those bad ones who do the bad things" is a form of identity politic.
And yet it still was. It was using women and blacks and others as a chip to make your movement more valid, and as a weapon against the opponent. It was saying "the BLACKS and the WOMENS agree with us, so clearly you are the REAL bad guys." Which is the exact position the Woke use everyday.
You seem to be unable to grasp that you can in fact be guilty of doing something, even if its in response to something else. So yes, the way you use the concept of being against identity politics is identity politics. You just think that because you are right, you can't be doing the bad thing.
