When have blacks ever demanded that Democrats actually help the black population?
Now, we shouldn't fall in the same trap as those idiots who claim that GOP voters who 'vote against their economic interests' are dumb, stupid, lazy, etc. These blacks may simply believe that Republicans are 'racist', so they might not want to vote GOP even if it is in their best economic interests. You don't want to support people who hate you, after all.
That it's not true is beside the point. Perceptions are more important than reality.
What do republicans offer black people? Nothing that will ever compete with endless gibs, immunity from prosecution under Soros DAs, and a permanent moral high ground over every other racial demographic (save one, of course). Blacks will never vote against democrats because democrats unleash all of the worst cultural proclivities of blacks. Criminality and violence, dependence on the state, hatred of non-blacks - all excused and encouraged by democrat politicians. As a voting block, blacks will never turn down that total package.

I have pretty much given up on trying to convince other black people to not blindly support Dems. Granted Republicans aren’t perfect but if given the choice I’ll vote R every time. My brother gave up trying to convince anyone as well.
Yeah, Republicans have been worthless. That said, I'm obviously not an American so not voting, but the only thing that makes me want to be a Republican is the absolute rage with which all the bad actors talk about Republicans.
As if Republicans are actually any good at accomplishing anything!
In terms of strategy, I think it's far easier to get leftists to agree with you on policy that on party. So just convince them instead that wokeness is bad. Or that transing kids is bad. That's what I do, in part because it would make no difference anyway which of our eight identical parties they would vote for.
May be, but to me that doesn't explain the approval rating from the black population. When you have a huge difference from tbe white and hispanic populations, that tells me that there is something very different about how the black population is being treated compared to everyone else.
People approve based on their partisanship, just like their perceptions of the economy switches immediately based on who is in power. It's sad, but it is what it is.
