I liked the RE2 remake, I liked the RE1 remake, RE3 remake did have issues and raised some question marks, RE4 remake I will not bother playing, I like the original to much to play some sterilized remake made for "modern audiences".

I'm sure there are far better examples you could have used, because this particular one is a non-issue. Jill doesn't look ugly. The only thing I can say is that she looks different, more American, which makes sense on account of Raccoon City being in what I assume is the American Midwest.

Yeah, I agree with the other commenters. The IRL model looks better than the game character, but the game character isn't ugly like we've seen with Aloy, Mass Effect, Control, and many others.

The problem is that its a combination of this sort of thing happening many times already for obvious woke reasons.

Capcom is pozzed. They censored the rising sun background on Street fighter remake too and turned the HK flag in to a China flag
I agree Capcom is a pozzed POS and the female model appears better, but I don't think the Aloy comparison holds.
Aloy was a massive hack job from the hair to man jaw, chubby cheeks, body form, etc., not to mention the early concept art displaying the opposite.
Jill could be modeled better, but the situations are nowhere comparable.
