I think pointing out hypocrisy is fine if you're realistic about what it can accomplish. Leftists might not care about being hypocrites but someone on the fence watching their antics will. Leftists have a real knack for driving people into the arms of their opponents and our job is to illustrate their bullshit in clear terms to expedite that process. Pointing out their hypocrisy is one way to do that. But yeah, you'll never get a leftist to hold themselves to their own standards.
