We're going to have to redefine the word think and update it for modern audiences now. Because I'm not sure anything that is going on inside that guy's head is sophisticated enough to qualify as thinking.
It's true. It's not even a binary yes/no to whether Humans are capable of self-awareness, it's more like a continuous flow between states of true consciousness and pseudo-consciousness. Different people are sentient (sapient) for varying periods of time throughout the day. The Great Apes may even have flashes of it from time to time. But some people we call "Humans" may experience it less than that.
Sorry for going on off on a tangent from what you meant, but I agree.
true. Look at the way he gets confused and struggles to respond when O'Keefe fires back at everyone of his points, pointing out the flaws in his argument.
To be fair, a few decades ago, I probably would have been just as bad on global warming.
Man back in college I didn't know nothing about anything. It wasn't until the end of my last year of college did I really begin to shake off the years of nonsense I was fed.
I don't think he even understands what he's saying, honestly... It's pretty clear he hasn't thought out his position on these issues. he just knows what somebody told him, and he keeps dogmatically repeating that...
Everything I was told in school and required to recite back to them was 100% true, accurate, fact-checked, confirmed, and fortified. Independent observation outside of select textbooks and following logical conclusions be damned.
It's always funny when people stumble so close to the truth but remain blind to the greater meaning.
Dartmouth: "You're covering up the important thing. You're also taking large amounts of money from wealthy individuals..sure you can say they're not telling you what to do, but if someone pays me a lot of money to ... uh ... if the're a system built .... blah blah something about progressive grassroots"
YES, this is exactly right. Money affects motivation. And yet these fools think that the university-professoriate-educated-elite is immune from the impact of government money? They think that they alone have pure motives?
If Republicans were smart they would defund non-STEM higher education. Money for chemistry degree? Great? Money for gender study degree? Fuck off.
The problem is he keeps trying to call O'keefe a puppet of rich companies, but he can't do it without discrediting himself, because of the rich companies supporting the DNC which o'keefe points out everytime he goes there.
In reality he doesn't have a leg to stand on, but he's trying to shame o'keefe for things his own 'side' does all the time.

I'm steadily coming to the conclusion that the majority of the population isn't actually sentient.

Dunno if I'd go that far, but you're definitely seeing a lot of cult-like behavior these days...
is it weird I actually feel bad for this poor, gullible sucker? You know these aren't his ideas, someone fed him this bullshit.
I'd almost say it's a natural response. These people are built from the ground up this way and are trained to not know any better.

Michael Crichton was probably my first redpill, honestly.
Rich? Corporatist?
Does that faggot even understand how much he's projecting?

Direct link to the video since OP is a fag that required me to go through at least 2 links and deal with scored's dogshit layout.
"I'm a very busy person."
Fuck you, kid.
