So, am I supposed to take bets DNR will be the ones thrown under the bus by Russia this time around?
DNR/LNR are seemingly the strongest soldiers fighting on the Russian side, don't think they want to lose those unless they want to lose the war.

Pretty sure that is just PR and the actually most effective soldiers are the ones from the Donbas. Makes sense, as they have been fighting for years and they're fighting for their homes and families shelled by Ukraine.
Their front barely even moved. In some/many places just didn't.
They were the ones shelling homes too (plenty of Grads and other arty). And do it right now more then ever.
