Is Sweeden even involved in military conflicts?
A friend of mine had a saying, something along the lines of "a commanding officer who never seen war is neither impressive nor worthy of respect".
O wow, I did not expect such a small country to be a major weapons exporter.
How sure are you of that? I just googled and it was putting it on 15'th place.
Even so, weapon exports not the same as being part of military conflicts. I know a lot of military guys that never seen any conflict.
Do not know, I never heard it like that. It is usually net, when you say the biggest salmon exporter or the biggest cereal exporter is always net values since no one cares if it is per capital or not, everyone cares on how much of the market someone has.
It is one of those metrics that makes little sense per capita, except maybe as a reason why a country has a lot of money. Has a lot of export vs number of citizens. But the discussion was not around why they have a lot of money.
Crime statistics, income, wealth, homelessness, education - this seem very relevant as per capital.
If you said the amount of weapons sold locally would be important per capital.
Both have their places. Net shows their actual impact on the world, per capita shows how much a country focuses on the industry relative to other ones.
I guess if you fail to understand the stat, sure. If one guy on an island produced 100,000 guns per year that would be a significant arms producer because it's one guy doing it. Doesn't matter that all the companies combined in the US produce a million guns.
Reinforcements of le average redditors coming to Ukraine might actually put an end to the conflict. Both the Ukrainians and Russians will see the bunch of misshapen, fedora-tipping soylords babbling about Marvel movies and Pickle Rick and they'll forget about everything and band together to exterminate this menace forever. I want to see Azov members together with Kadyrov's butchers crucifying a fat nerd before I die.
That's fucking awesome, "I have lots of experience because military fam" followed by "Help me!".
I didn’t spend all those years playing Dungeons and Dragons without learning anything about courage

Sweden is the 3rd largest weapons exporter in the world.

Per capita
That seems like a strange metric to have as per capita.
Why? They're a small country and don't make and sell small arms on the American civilian market.
The fact is that they produce a large amount relative to their population size.

So does a guy alone on an island, but he’s not changing the world. Per capita is a STUPID metric for weapons production and sale.

He gets there just as Russia declares that the war is over and they have what they need, then claims that he drove russia off.
They aren't going anywhere. They want their precious upboats and vacuous virtue signalling is the only skill they possess.

nu star wars.
THIS IS JUST LIKE WHEN ROSE SAID ITS ABOUT SAVING THE ONES YOU LOVE
Best ending is Ukrainians and Russians seeing all the western globalhomo propaganda and making their own NATO, with Christianity and Pierogies.
Universal brotherhood!
My favorite so far is one guy proclaimed "I can stand" as if that's some edge he's got over the competition he'd be facing.
