As a Canadian, I will tell you with absolute certainty, there will be no good conservative leader. The party is too liberal now. We need a new party altogether. Full traditionalist super right-wing. The CPC are just liberals in blue.
I prefer hardcore right wing populist, because tradcons did severe damage the reputation of the right by fearmongering for years about violent media causing violence.

Considering she supported O'Toole until the bitter end, it's unlikely she has much support from the caucus either.

If I remember correctly, hes been approached to run for leader of CPC before. He didnt want to do it because he has very young children he doesnt want to spend time away from.
