So the game has RMT, in fact while it's not strictly pay to win the fact of the matter is you do need the paid currency if you are going to play the game seriously. This means that your account has literal value.
Also in the game is a VERY niche weapon, a sword and shield combo called Sigma and Occtantis.
Misan once had a guy's entire account permabanned from the game because he did the grind with this weapon to allow him to rename it, and he renamed it Ligma and Succondis. Dude had literally thousands of hours spent, perma'ed because he offended this ridiculous troon.
The worst part is how the rules aren't applied equally. Developers are allowed to name Zaws shit like "Crumbguzzler" and moderators are allowed to name their pets after Chairman Mao. But naming a gun that shoots tentacles that spread disease "The Hairy Junk of Nurgle" or naming a pet after the band "Impaled Nazarene" is enough to get a permaban. I feel lucky to get my account back, but I am never giving these fuckers any of my money.

His whole online personality is basically "fuck you, I'm gay", and if anyone dared to challenge him on anything, in-game or out, his first line of defense was to scream "HOMOPHOBIA" and be a dickbag to anyone and everyone who might call him out on it.
Everyone and their dog knew the dude's shtick and there had been actionable complaints against AGGP that DE did nothing about.
