Last night I deleted a tweet because it was widely misinterpreted and distorted by conservative media. "Back of the hand" is an idiom for rebuke. I wholeheartedly condemn violence against women.
"Lynch" is also an idiom for rebuke, I doubt he'd show the same interpretation to people who called to lynch Kamala.
Even if "Back of the hand" is a non-violent idiom for rebuke (which I don't think I've ever heard before), a reasonable person would at least understand why people would be upset about a group of mostly men giving a woman "the back of their hand" and see it as a call to violence. But not Lil Robby, it must be those darn conservatives dishonestly distorting it!
A long time ago, people used to kiss the back of the hand as a sign of respect. The backhand (assault) usage is more common today. I know people refuse to shake hands, but I've never heard of back of the hand being used for this.
It wouldn't make any sense to suggest that Democrat senators should offer Sinema the backs of their hands to kiss. You probably realize that, so I'm no arguing with you; just saying
Manchin and Sinema may as well change parties. Firstly it's easier to be a Republican that disagrees with 90% of Republican positions than it is to be a Democrat that disagrees with 10% of Democrat positions and secondly they'd have a lot of company with all the other RINOs.
Manchin would if it were to his advantage. It's possible that at some point it could be, which is why he has not denied it (and possibly put the feelers out himself.) Sinema : no way. The Republican party of Arizona has a whole other thing going on, and she's plainly targeting a different demographic. The theory is that with all the Mexicans and South Americans, white votes won't matter any more. And those foreigners are not voting R.

You gotta love how he blames 'Conservative Media' for his own statement.
"How dare people point out my horrific remark. Obviously the people who shared my idiocy deserve your hate!"

You have to understand they live in a fantasy world where they are the king, so the idea that THEY are at fault is absurd.
It never even crosses their mind that their own actions and decisions are wrong, clearly the problem lies in everyone who heard them.

Agreed, just mentioned the only definitions I could think of.

It's like they're perfectly content with being hypocrites.
