Over time, doing less could increase our partner’s involvement and, in turn, free up more of our mental energy to focus on ourselves. At first, we might get judged for it, but it could lead to greater happiness later on.

Hedonistic individuals parasite off society for short term pleasure that leaves them in a miserable hell of their own creation. Civilizations are built be those who sacrifice themselves for their God, Family, Community, and People in that order. It is rewarded long term with a fulfilling and satsifying life surrounded by people who love you in kind.

The majority of major inventions weren't made by married or religious people.

The majority of people are what make a civilization work, so that those exceptional ones can focus on their goals instead of dying because a scientist is not very good at hunting boar.

You are so short sighted it hurts.

Great civilizations are built by peoples, not technic marvels.

That word 'major' is doing a lot of work there. I guess only the Concord was a major inventionl.

The mobile phone was invented by a man who was unmarried at the time.

Considering what that has led to, piss be upon him.

That's just the first one I could come up with. I don't have a book to hand of major inventors, but I'd guess most did not spend their lives chasing women's whims.

I'm amazed at how often you make bald-faced assertions about stuff that you are merely 'guessing' about.
