Even worse for them ... use Ad Nauseum.

  1. It works like any standard ad blocker on the surface by not showing you the ads

  2. It "clicks" every ad in the background

    • By doing so:
    1. It pollutes the profile being built about you

    2. It costs advertisers money

Cons:

  1. It gives the sites you hate advertisement revenue

Pros and cons, but I like using it ... Personally I'd rather give them worthless data as it's often more damaging than no data at all.

The only valid use case for something like Ad Nauseum would be if the advertiser is the only target. For example, I like Ryu on YouTube but hate Warhammer 40,000 Lost Crusade, so clicking on his ad would help him and hurt the scummy mobile company. That is not a valid strategy when you're just helping people you hate funnel money to propagandists you also hate.

I think the idea is the people paying for it will quickly realize that the "clicks" they're getting aren't actually doing anything for them.

You could bot your own accounts for ad money... 🤔

But that could harm small local business trying to advertise on whatever platform. Support those guys 👍🏻
