The only valid use case for something like Ad Nauseum would be if the advertiser is the only target. For example, I like Ryu on YouTube but hate Warhammer 40,000 Lost Crusade, so clicking on his ad would help him and hurt the scummy mobile company. That is not a valid strategy when you're just helping people you hate funnel money to propagandists you also hate.

I think the idea is the people paying for it will quickly realize that the "clicks" they're getting aren't actually doing anything for them.
