It's funny because... I am literally in the firing line for this... Like, if anyone on this site was going to get sent to one of these camps, if they DO turn them against citizens who haven't travelled overseas, I am one of the few posters here who this will directly affect...

Though I will fight them with every fibre of my being before that happens.

But yeah, if it DOES come to that, at least you all... Have a record of my thoughts before they "took" me, lol...

Fun times. Especially having been roughed up by cops and locked up (not in prison. Somewhere arguably worse) before. Real fun times...

"If I had a gunnnnnn (and body armour), even just for a daaaaaayyyyy..."

Nah, jk. Would probably just off myself, honestly. Though hey, maybe it would inspire me with the will to actually DO something. Who knows?

"Why hello there ASIO. What's that you say, a terror watchlist? Colour me surprised... Come with you, you say? You have a camp for people just like me? Well I never..." /s

Seems like a powerful electromagnet, properly applied, would be more useful in this instance...

For what it's worth, citizens have ever been resourceful in coming up with ways of subverting illegitimate govts, in spite of sanctions against them procuring weapons or other useful tools... a lil time with the ol' vpn and tor browser might give you a few ideas...

Re:Ned Kelly, Sadly, I only know that name thanks to a semi-famous shit-poster talking about him, lol

*ASIO is like the FBI/MI5, for those out there not from this part of the world...

Then, as I have explained before, we have ASIS, which is like MI6 or the CIA.

Finally, we have the ASD, which is like the NSA... I have no idea what the British equivalent of that is, to be honest...

ASD equals the "cool" one, which does most of the recruiting. ASIO is the "known" one, with pop culture references (generally evil, sometimes not), and ASIS... Is the shadowy, evil one...

But again, most people only know about ASIO.

So yeah, it's not... 1:1 interchangeable with the US equivalent, but you get the idea. None of them are "officially" allowed to carry guns, anymore. We have the AFP for that, who are... Something like a cross between the Secret Service, Capitol Police, the TSA, and the fucking stasi/gestapo..?

AFP are the ones who would probably come for me, for posting something like that, no joke...

It's nice that you guys have such a neat and manageable "intelligence community." At last count the US government had near-on 40 seperate, declassified Intel agencies, and that's not counting tangential stuff like the DEA.
