The defense quickly showed the file they received was in fact a completely different file from the metadata. So again the prosecution blatantly lies and not one peep. “Based” judge is letting it ride out to cover his ass.
Ask the duke kids if the fly was just a fly. This kid is fucked for life regardless, this farce should have been thrown out at the first sign of bad faith.
Before you tell people to fedpost, ask yourself if you would fedpost yourself. Unless you're going to fedpost yourself, don't tell other people to fedpost and get angry when they don't wanna fedpost.
This case is basically proof the country is in a civil war, the fact two people can look at the same thing and see completely different answers in this case is beyond comprehension.
The problem is we're not seeing the same thing- as if MSM would show anything but the most twisted, mangled fabrication of the truth. There've been a couple posts where some leftys realised for the 1st time that Kyle's attackers weren't even black. How are they supposed to reach even vaguely similar conclusions if they're this heavily, maliciously misinformed?
In other regulated industries the reason wouldn't matter; the fact that an unapproved method of transmitting data was used and the data was adulterated in transit would be enough to ream the sender over the coals.
It continues to amaze me the sorts of things the legal profession allows itself to do that it forbids all other industries (including those with far more expertise in the underlying technologies than the legal profession) to do.
I feel this is malicious, but I don't understand the point of why. The video doesn't show anything we don't have better videos of. This doesn't seem to be hiding any evidence so why?
The drone video is cgi, they use falsely made pixels to argue Rittenhouse point his gun at someone, with his left hand and the strap magically changing sides. It’s a farce and frankly they are pushing for a civil war.
The metadata of the low resolution video (the one given to the defense) shows it was created after the original HD footage video (the one only the prosecution and state had, which was withheld from the defense until after evidence submission ended), and the low res version is cropped, meaning it doesn't show everything the HD video does. Furthermore, the entirety of the prosecution's case hinges on the low res video and screenshots from it, which they used to suggest Kyle pointed his rifle at the protestors before the shootings, showing intent to do harm and provocation, therefor suggesting Kyle is guilty of murder. The HD video shows Kyle didn't do this, but that evidence was withheld by the prosecution. This means it was done intentionally. The defense team and the judge himself are being pussies, and should declare a mistrial with prejudice, preventing Kyle from being retried. Letting the jury continue to deliberate based on intentionally tampered evidence damaging to the defendant is insane.
When this was discussed in court earlier today, the defense team was throwing out one bullshit excuse after another to the judge, in an attempt to save their own asses, even though each excuse disproved the previous, and no one called them out on their bullshit. The spineless defense team could only muster enough testosterone to ask the judge for a mistrial without prejudice, which would force Kyle to go through this again.
This whole fucking trial is an abortion of justice, and it shouldn't have even occurred in the first place.
And was created after the original HD video according to the metadata, and had a different file name, and the prosecution had video editing software on their laptop, even though they claimed to not know how this happened, and they lied when they said the video compressed on the defendant's end (videos are compressed on the sender's end), and only this one particular piece of evidence was sent via a different method to all the other evidence.
They claimed it, but it was debunked pretty quickly and the line of argument was dropped.
If you saw the prosecutor literally has Handbrake installed on his computer. It is undoubtedly intentional.
In a just world, it'd be an immediate mistrial with prejudice.

Handbrake? So much for the "we're unfrozen caveman lawyers who don't understand this newfangled technology" line.
Yeah that’s a pretty specialized tool that is not pre installed on your pc.
"Do you guys not have phones?" has now been legitimized as a legal maneuver in court

They certainly charge enough for it to be treated as one.
Incompetent? No. Malicious? All day.

Yeah, exactly ... if the prosecution had provided the HD imagery at the start, they'd have had no call to show their CGI fantasy to the jury.
I don't buy the incompetence route one bit.

The video was also cropped

Bullshit.
The video processing software is literally in the folder with the video files!
