It's been shown many times that trends are not organic but curated by the company, and even if that can't be proven in court, we CAN prove that Twitter frequently censors trending tags - which shows that they have control over the algorithm and it's effectively their soapbox. Whatever is trending is published and promoted by Twitter.
It's the equivalent of a major newspaper running headline KYLE RITTENHOUSE IS GUILTY. Media sources aren't supposed to do that. I thought that was settled law?

Technically, Rittenhouse is innocent until proven guilty. He should sue for defamation. Only thing he is guilty of is not finishing the job.
