High Guardian Spice seems like it was designed as a gateway series for girls who grew out of the intended Avatar/Korra/Steven Universe demographic who are interested in seeing something with even more of an anime aesthetic, enjoying it and then moving on to shows like the unedited version of Cardcaptor Sakura or Fruits Basket, both of which just happen to be on Crunchyroll.
What the fuck does this even mean? That Japanese series like Cardcaptor Sakura that first aired on US television decades ago are just so foreign and weird that girls need a "gateway" to get into it?
