A one-eyed Gandalf looking motherfucker with a spear told me not to take the vaccine. It could have been a crackhead but it could also be Odin and I cannot take that risk.
Were there ravens or horses (ideally with extra legs) around? If so, you're good
Well the gods can take many forms, even that of a humble crackhead...
Absolutely based Ancestors
This is truly based.
Thank goodness I'm 1/256th Native American and my ancestors warned me about the white man's vaccines too!
Still 4 times more than Elizabeth Warren! You should publish a native cookbook.
Fuck it, I identify as Native American now.
Unequivocally based!
I get it, but the funny thing is, statistics wise, Native Americans are actually the most vaccinated, because of that I believe they've actually escaped a lot of the issues surrounding COVID.
Notice how in all this discussion nobody is talking about Native Americans and it's always other "communities of color"? They always talk about COVID affecting Hispanics, illegals, and blacks the most. Notice how they leave us Asians out as well?
Asian Americans are apparently the most vaccinated in the country. I know most of you have issues with the vaccine, I do too - but I'm just pointing out facts. Next highest vaccinated? Native Americans, but instead of using the government to force themselves to do it, they actually did their own community-oriented effort. From the articles i read, they self regulated themselves with tribal leaders working with each other. There apparently was minimal government intervention because the federal government was sitting on their hands about it.
I want to pull up articles as sources but too many of them are from leftist sites, so if you want to see why you'll have to look it up yourself.
The ironic part about it is, is that one of the reasons they claim to have gotten vaccinated quickly was to preserve their 'tribal culture'. So in essence a type of racial group sorta awareness made them get it since it hits old people, and in the Native American population losing elderly is a huge blow to their communities.
Another irony? This also proves how small communities that are self-run work faster and more efficiently than a federal or state government mandating your shit. A bunch of disparate organizations, communities, and leaders worked together and advocated for themselves to get themselves the vaccine. They were quicker to respond to it since they live in communal households which had elderly who were hit hard by the beervirus.
Again I know the vaccines have issues and I'm sure the Native Americans dealt with reactions/side effects from the vaccine, but I just find it funny that both a collective racial and cultural identity + efficient use of small government/communities is how they were able to get the message across instead of forcing it on us like the federal government is using an unelected geriatric (Faucci and Biden) to force it on us.
They have tightly quarantined their communities, in my many cases closing them completely to outsiders. That is a more likely reason for them having escaped a lot of the issues surrounding COVID.
