Is communism the political equivalent of a cleansing forest fire? Every few generations the stupidity reaches critical mass, and then a communist starvation event frees up the resources for another run of prosperity.
Is it communism they love down there, or do they just hate personal responsibility? When you have giant families with no man in the house outside of grandpa, you start to wonder where the real problems lie.
If we were to ever meet in real life, I would love to treat you to a fat burger or pizza, and a beer as well. I think you'd have plenty of interesting stories to share.
Best of luck to you in all your endeavors and God bless (if you are religiously inclined).
I love the clown in the thread joking about Keto as if those people were only standing in line for bread because they were tired of all the meat and vegetables they already had at home.
There's a good book about stuff similar to this, Tribe by Sam Junger I think? The overall theory is that in difficult times (usually war) people in the community band together and create a tribe like mentality and look after one another with everyone having their own responsibilities. The book was fairly anti government and certainly not pro communist/Marxist or whatever other fagget form of government like this guy wants
Have fun. It's a quick read but definitely thought provoking. I thought he romanticized Indian culture a bit much but there were some things I did agree with of theirs
