In fact, when I told Joe early in the podcast that I didn't agree with his apparent views on vaccines against Covid, ivermectin and many things in between, part of me thought the MMA, former Taekwondo champion might hurtle himself across the table and throttle my neck.
It was like Joe and I were now in the octagon, circling one another. He stared at me intently now, eyebrows raised. I admitted that the vaccinated could still carry the virus at similar loads as the unvaccinated, but swiftly added -- before he could claim victory -- that there was more to the story.
I guess a small part of me thought I might change Joe Rogan's mind about vaccines. After this last exchange, I realized it was probably futile. His mind was made up, and there would always be plenty of misinformation out there neatly packaged to support his convictions. Truth is though, I am still glad I did it.
I countered back equally hard that the risk of myocarditis has been shown to be much higher for infected children under 16 years old compared to their uninfected peers.
Not only does it read like some fan fiction but the guy seems to think he somehow won the debate.
The many references to fighting and octagon and wording like “ I countered back equally hard” are cringe af and illustrates how Sanjay fantasizes about being an actual man like Rogan and a fair opponent in a fight setting
The fight references are constant reminders to the reader that Sanjay is the esteemed doctor who's opinion and facts are obviously much more valuable and true than joe Rogan, as if Rogan is only known for mma and not the million hours of podcasting discussions with credible individuals, plus sometimes he has a shill like Sanjay on the show so they can dig themselves into a hole
Even his counter points to joe Rogans points, he cites links that don’t prove his claim
“8 times less likely to get covid” links to cdc, in its own article simply says “studies show…” and the cdc unsurprisingly does not link their source of data

The entire article deserves to be shredded piece by piece but even this paragraph is sad start to finish
He’s so fucking narcissistic. Punch.
“Change his mind about vaccines” - so now he subtly labels Rogan as an anti vaxxer altogether not just the covid injections
“His mind was made up” implies he is wrong and stubborn, blind to the truth
“ there would always be plenty of misinformation neatly packaged to support his convictions” - so there’s tons of data and evidence to back up rogans truths, which you can’t argue against, and you just call it misinformation
Put sanjay and the rest of these sub human scum on trial
The entire article deserves to be shredded piece by piece but even this paragraph is sad start to finish
If yall want to read it, I tried to below... it was a long time because he had a ton of bs claims in his 'rebuttal' and its made me completely lose my faith in his medical accredidations.
One post was not long enough to call out all of sanjayna's bs. check my commentary if you wanna shit on sanjayna
CDC likes to have wording like 8x more it less likely. The thing about incredibly small numbers... such as risk factors with COVID is that even when you divide or multiply them 8 there still incredibly small numbers.
Because like so many things on the left: They Want to Believe.
Life is a movie, life is a TV show - they're the hero, when things are simpler things are easier. It's indulgent narcissism, and so far, they've been consistently rewarded for it.
Sanjay's been doing a produced short 'health' segment that worms its way onto one of the radio show podcast networks (Cumulus, for Red Eye Radio) I listen to as a promoted bit in commercial breaks that's annoying as hell. He's really full of himself and has been for a long, looong time.
This is pure comedy. Meathead eviscerates your cultlike fixation, using pointed questions and basic points - UH OH I better make it sounds like I was physically intimidated!!1
The free will of your fist ends where my nose begins
When I said this to Joe, the MMA fighter, he paused, sat back and listened for a while.
He was probably trying to parse the utter retardation of comparing the choice to refuse a vaccine with the act of physically punching people in the face.
If this was some personal blog, I'd just consider it the pathetic coping strategies of an intellectual, moral and physical weakling. But it being on CNN makes it a major damage control attempt. It honestly terrifies these people how many minds they may have lost through a podcast appearance like this and I bet Gupta has a lot of genuflecting to do with his woke colleagues atm.

There’s a lot to unpack in Sanjays piece

This is one of the major qualification in becoming a CNN mouth piece.

Why do these faggots write like they are writing a novel?
Because they can’t sell facts, so they sell emotions. Want to change Joes mind? Try actually being right once about Covid you hack.
He has to use novels to make it seem like he won. Bringing up the facts would crush him.
Sanjay did bring up facts, they just werent the ones he was claiming they were.
Because like so many things on the left: They Want to Believe.

Because they live in pseudo-realities that they've constructed. Great essay on the topic from James Lindsay:

They're selling emotions to white woman

Nah sanjay is right, joe has a history of beating up everyone he invites on his podcast.
