And the entire story is intentionally bland and blank girl becomes the object of obsession from incredibly powerful and/rich men and are the most important person in the world.
I'd be interested to hear more about it. I dare not try reading that stuff myself. Something about how shallow and senseless it all sounds makes it more mysterious.
