I have a hard time getting my head around this shot being deployed as a weapon of genocide. Those in control have nothing to gain from that. They want to lord over slaves, not corpses. If everyone dies but the elite, then who's to raise their food, take care of them, etc. The way I see it the weapon is fear and the vaccine is a carelessly developed symbol of control. Hell, they might could have gotten away with giving saline shots if they tried.
