I was sadly hoping that a nation that was never imperialistic, who was subjected to a lot of hardship, that loved their culture and history would be resilient to the globalists.

I don't think it's accurate though to say it's all driven by money. Globalist destruction of westerns nations is partly profit, partly ideological in drive.
Problem is, they never suffered under socialist dictatorships before, so the natural aversion of say, Poland or Hungary, who suffered under two of the worst, doesn't exist to the same degree as it does in the Eastern Bloc.
