CBW Chicago reports that County Judge Mary Marubio explained to the court that the victim ran out of the store after being shot the first time. The security guard then chased him outside and shot him a second and third time. Chester Holmes, the 42-year-old shooter, is being held without bail.
And that, folks, is how you immediately lose all grounds to claim self defense.
"The shooter is barred from possessing a weapon as he is a four-time convicted felon and a registered child sex offender. Holmes’ defense attorney reportedly said his client “has a big heart and is a kind-hearted man.”"
Yeah I'm sure Chester the molesters victim thinks he's a kind-hearted man.
Some of his lawyer's other statements and assorted details:
Chicago cops heard the gunfire and responded quickly enough to see Holmes running away, according to Auguste. He ditched his gun and security vest along the way and later told arresting officers where they could find them, Auguste said. Holmes also allegedly admitted to shooting the victim.
“This is obviously going to be a self-defense case,” Friedman said after hearing the allegations. He called the circumstances “basically, a customer who’s unruly, who wants to put other lives at risk,” by not wearing a COVID mask.
Holmes, Friedman argued, “reacted in self-defense” to a man who wasn’t wearing a COVID mask.
Auguste said Holmes was convicted of sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl and sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl in 2003. He has also served two prison terms for failing to follow sex offender registration requirements, according to Auguste.
“That’s not me,” Holmes said as Auguste detailed the specific acts he was accused of committing against the girls.
Friedman said Holmes was “fully cooperative” with police, indicating he had an “innocent mindset” with “nothing to hide.”
They'll give anyone a goddamn law degree these days.
Self-defense has four important pillars, which are typical regardless of state statutes. In order for self-defense to be a reasonable claim, the claimant must demonstrate that he:
Reasonably believes
He is in imminent danger of an overt act
Threatening unlawful force, serious bodily harm, or death; and
Uses the amount of force reasonable in relation to the harm threatened.
Literally not a goddamn one of these requirements were even close to met. This is an open-and-shut 2nd Degree Attempted Murder verdict - 1st Degree if they can prove he went to "work" with the intent to shoot someone without a mask.
I'd say a bit of both, but in this case I genuinely think a lot of people fell for the propaganda. Even if they only believe a portion, that's enough to reinforce the culture of fear and self-oppression that keeps this going.
Bring an unlicensed security guard who supports antifa to a gun rights rally, and he'll shoot a protester in the head. He was hired to guard a 9news reporter, and they attended an Antifa rally earlier that day. Antifa even publicly claimed the reporter was theirs (Antifa member).
And there was nothing we could do about it. The Antifa pedo in illegal possession of a firearm was a made guy, and the anti-masker wasn't. We just had to sit there and take it, because among the Italians it was real greaseball shit.
Nice area. (yes, that was sarcasm) Bummer for the victim though, because it looks like the liquor store rolled up and went away. No deep pockets there.
Also, you'd consider yourself lucky to not get shot on the way to the store.

the fagcuck paced around and then chased and shot him again. send him for life.
just march him out to the gallows
Was also a convicted felon and therefore a prohibited possessor.

They've spent the last year pushing that if you exist without a mask in public you are literally murdering people directly through your actions.
It seems they truly believe it now.
Is it that people are stupid enough to believe the propaganda?
Or that they use it as an excuse to be animals?
I'd say a bit of both, but in this case I genuinely think a lot of people fell for the propaganda. Even if they only believe a portion, that's enough to reinforce the culture of fear and self-oppression that keeps this going.
Swing a cat at an Antifa rally and you're guaranteed to hit a pedo.

The faggot in the OP?
No, this was from 2020
Pedophile with a gun chasing down and shooting people over masks. Someone turn on the Kenosha Kid signal!
You'll never guess this guy's race btw
It's Chicago. Of course Sicilian.
He belongs to the infamous Holmes clan from Catellamare del Golfo.

Give us a hint with a pic of his Tartan pattern?
So first question is, did his employer know about this guy's history?
Second question, did the employer know he carried a firearm on the job?
If the people who employed security guards asked any of these questions, there wouldn't be any security guards left.
Its one of those professions where you got into it because your history is too checkered for other jobs.
See the streetview link in my other comment. It will answer your questions.
But he was fully vaccinated though, right??
I hope so, I really care about safety.

But but, there is a police station right there. /s
