I unironically enjoy reading about Take-Two's authoritarian, thuggish behaviour against gamers.

Why is T2 the based man?
Anyway I'm more happy to see CDPR trying to make up for their botched release and regain goodwill, where most companies would have already washed their hands of it and moved on to the next title.
CDPR is learning quick that nerds, overwhelmingly either white men or asian men, have to clean up after tranny wound queef juice got into the code.
Or they aren't learning and they're gonna roll over, die, and the corpse will let out some saved up turd and piss onto the floor.
What are they paying the modders though? Could it be like a internship sorta business/PR trick? CDPR may not be in the financial state to shrug off shit like EA does
That same type stuff is one reason I've never really gotten into Nintendo and still don't have a Switch. They are better politically than the competition, sure, but they are a little too much anti-consumer to entice me.
They are but they make consistently good games and their track record for first party titles is better than any other dev house in the industry and spans across generations. Even their "shovelware" like links crossbow training has a lot of redeeming qualities.
Yeah, that's what keeps me from totally hating them. I've gained enough interest in their franchises over the past couple years that I think they will have me once they update the Switch again since there's a short list of titles I want to play. Perhaps quicker if they'd have done a more old school Zelda game, I've struggled to get into Breath of the Wild.
Did you actually play mario teaches typing? It really does work to teach you how to type. The gamification system both kept you from getting bored and motivated progression.
Nintendo of America is standing neck-deep in PC bullshit.
happily nintendo of america is slave of nintendo of japan essentially; unlike sony where sony of japan is slaves to sony of america now
legacykilla is a leftist cuck and on the traitors list
To add: you can mine salt from the GTA fan base alone.
I'll say it until I'm blue in the face, when your consistently getting in the news for 'protecting' the property from it's own fans, maybe time to step back and see who these laws really serve.
Does anyone really think that any of these fan-game teams could've gotten a similar deal, if offered? I get it a feeling it's what most of them would really want anyways. Hell they probably would've taken a pittance on the project and let the company rake it in for the promise of an entry.
Making mod menus that drop currency with IRL value is stealing.
Making currency that costs real world money is retarded and predatory.
If you must add microtransactions they should be items not currency.
I think the practice of taxation is predatory and serves women too much, but I can't refuse to pay my taxes.
It's the same principle here. You can say it's not fair and that it's wrong, but circumventing the system is still stealing, especially if you help others do the same.
I have no qualms about stealing from predators just like I have no qualms assfucking the VA for benefits. When a company seeks to denigrate their product into predatory cash grabs then I no longer engage in their services and will actively seek to harm them as much as possible. Vindictive people don’t get preyed upon because they will destroy you in return.
stealing/theft is taking someone else's property. changing a digital counter in a video game is not the same as taking someone else's property. The very most it could be considered is breaking a EULA, and fuck those.
Muh in game economy
The "in-game currency" has zero real life value. It's just a waste of money. The only use for it is to make unlocking things in-game faster. Since there's no way of exchanging it for anything of real value, it has zero value in and of itself. It's just predatory bullshit to fleece idiots.
There in lies the problem. Now the devs will deliberately do things to slow you down so you would buy the currency. They would invent problems that is best tackled with cash shop.
