Australians need to start armed protests, and if the police open fire then they should lynch the corrupt cops and start hunting down and executing government leadership.
Can confirm. But knowing the right people helps too. In South Africa I used to work for a guy who ran a workshop out of his garage. He had a couple of lathes, drill-press, welding machines etc. You’d be amazed how relatively simple it is to construct a functional firearm
and between VPNs and the internet, the knowledge available is near limitless.
To be honest, though, I hope it doesn't come to that. If Aussies are smart, they'll let the cops take the first shot. If possible, they should try to work down a list similar to this one until they get their freedom back, moving to the next action on the list only if the previous action has failed to secure their freedom:
Petition the Government.
Protest the Government.
Disabling of key infrastructure through walk-outs, etc., doing no actual damage, but refusing to work until liberty is returned. Ideally, this would be coordinated with individuals who have specializations that can't be easily replaced, such as CDLs, heavy construction equipment training, etc., while avoiding specialties which would lead to bigger problems, such as nuclear power plant engineers, etc., but with a focus on industries that would hurt the politicians making the decisions.
Non-violent Civil Disobedience(blocking public roads with cars, having impromptu street fairs, simply refusing to comply with the illiberal orders, etc.)
Occupation of Government buildings, offices, etc.using the minimum level of force necessary.
Open revolution and replacement of the tyrannical regime with one more liberty minded, producing a new law document to help secure those freedoms for the future.
.
It's not a perfect list, I probably left some important steps out, but I'd say Australia's at level three or maybe four. Hopefully, it never gets to five, let alone six...
This is not true, I have multiple guns still, just not the fun ones.
Edit: The real issue is the charges you get for having a gun and gun license, taking a gun to a protest would get you 15 years in jail minimum.
If someone kills someone with an illegal gun they will get less time in prison then someone who kills someone with a legal gun.
The laws are all there to punish gun owners.
The most crazy one is, if I threaten to shoot someone VERBALLY, I don't even have a gun on me, don't even own a gun, just have the license, and the person doesn't even know I have a license. That act is considered Assault with a Deadly weapon, 10 years minimum.

If any of you are familiar with the old 60s sitcom Hogan's Heroes, this reminds me of Hogan's negotiations..."We will do it for one extra hour of electric light per day and 2 extra slices of white bread."
It seems that this was actually somewhat true. I've read some of the history of the WWII POW camps. However, they'd bribe guards with items from their Red Cross packages. It turns out that UK POWs had better access to luxuries like chocolate and coffee than their guards did.
Yep.....Prisoners are allowed "Yard time"
That's good. Yard time is important for morale.

Except they gave up all their guns.
You'd be amazed the nasty little toys you can make with just crap you've got lying around the house.
It's Australia. They could find the nearest living organism, throw it, and safely assume it's somehow extremely dangerous.
I mean, there's videos on making a trebuchet at home on youtube...

ASSAULT WORDS
for fucks sake..
Asking for reasons is anti science, to the re-education camps with you!
People who go outdoors have a small chance of speaking with each-other in ways unmonitored by the State, leading to possible wrongthink spread.
When I bet which nation would go full dystopia, I bet on NZ followed by the United Femdom.
Sadly I have to ask if you mean US or UK for third pick.
Second, I never predicted Australia. The entire EU was my third pick, that they'd be pulled down to hell by Von der Leyen.
But the United Femdom is the UK. My former home.

Holy shit they are stricter then north Korea over there
It's insane how quickly Australia fell.
