One of the few good things about the internet is that nobody goes to the library any more.
While this is bullshit coming from the government, they are used to such things in China. I wouldn't mind if more parents would do it with their kids in the USA though.
Well, here's something for the eggheads to study - do minimum age laws have an effect on creating bingers vs habituals? That is to say, the difference between being raised to learn how to discipline and limit yourself, and having limits imposed on you.
taking responsibility for your decisions, your life is a trait usually taught by a father or father figure. It's a mostly masculine trait (personal responsibility). To promote this in your society it's critical to promote families with a mother and father present throughout the teen years of development.
You can see this most directly in the pre and post single mother welfare situation in the black community of the USA: 1950s v. 1970s and onward.
That ought to help with a lot of the rampant cheating in multiplayer games on West Coast servers then. Good riddance.
Quota? So everyone has to play at least 3 hours? I thought the CCP had already cornered gold farming.
Damn I would literally die
"The authorities" isn't exactly covering every single province of China. I doubt this is going to be enforced in any serious way, just as a guideline for parents.
This will probably end up being selectively enforced much like many (if not most) laws in china
Well there goes their esports team
Only under-18 are subject to the limit. The training/replacements for the teams may be haphazard, but existing players are probably alright.
