FWIW the latest official death toll as of just under an hour ago is 117, but yeah, definitely sounds like they are under-reporting.

When you have 10,000 people against 100, you need a force multiplier of 100 to get to 10,000.
At some point, the paint balls, rubber bullets, and less lethal weapons are not going to deter a force of 10,000 if even only 1% are armed.
