I remember a white leftist I know asked me about ways to elevate black voices (yes he used those words) after George Floyd and I suggested Thomas Sowell. He got pissed at me when he looked him up. I was like oh you didn’t say that you wanted someone to push the fake narrative of the media.
It's almost like your white leftist friend doesn't actually care about black people but he really needed a way to virtue signal that he does care so everyone knows how woke he is.
I figured that but it was funny to see how mad he got. He also got mad when I asked if he is so concerned about police brutality why didn’t he say anything about Tony Tympa or why is he latching onto the “trendy” outrage. Or the last straw was when I asked him about the latest inner city kids in Chicago who were murdered.
