This is also legally extortion based on discrimination? They wouldn't be allowed to do this based on any other medical status. We need gov to clamp down on this behaviour, but unfortunately, they're complicit.

Why limit it to medical? Their stance is "if your presence would reduce any theoretical sales, even if no actual sales in reality, then markup.". With that stance, you could mark-up black people. Men. Transgenders. Ugly people. The poor. Democrats. People with red hats. The elderly.
