Fox is mild and offers no real resistance to the Left's onslaught. If they can paint it as demonic then anything offering a a true threat to their power is already covered as unspeakably vile and not deserving of being subject to the rules; They can just nuke it from orbit with no due process to massive applause. This is to cement their power.
I don't think its shifting the Window because its the same viewpoint from the Bush era 20 years ago, the problem is that they are treating it as if its still as powerful as it was then.
Them nuking Fox at this point would almost be useless because of how meaningless it truly is to most of the Right Wing in America. While it would gain them accolades and market dominance, cable news is a dying market and accolades won't stop the radicalization.
