It’s run by the corporation that owns IGN, what did you expect from something connected to the site that practically embodies modern-day normie urinalism (besides our namesake, unfortunately)?
I basically never pick the charities anyway, since they tend to be evil shit. I almost wish there was an option to just burn the money, so it doesn't go to anyone.
Even easier so it’s not random. Pick a charity like child’s play to where you always have an option to donate to. They buy games for really sick or abused kids so they have a way to not worry about the real world for a bit. And it’s game related.
Will it be possible to give 0% to certain charities? Sometimes they include multiple “charities” some of which I don’t want to support. I’m fine with a charity whose mission statement is to provide a means for clean water to the third world, or a role model program for underprivileged youth or cancer research, Im not interested in supporting a charity whose main goal is “social justice”
There's better bundling sites out there if you want game diversity, and if you want to give to good charities, humble isn't a good pick for that, either.
You could check Fanatical. They tend to have good deals and bundles. Have not seen them do anything political either. I have bought many games from them.

I've been using Humble since 2013. I was less then enthralled when Insipid Gormless Nitwits bought it.
Can we still at least choose a 0% portion to Humble Bundle? I didn't see that mentioned in the post.
Also, depending on the charity, I frequently set that one to 0% too. 100% to the devs generally.
It was particularly good when a dev with a crappy rep had a bundle since you could give all the money to charity or HB.
If I'm forced to give money to Humble or the sexist and racist charities they push, I'll just get the games on G2A.

In the past you could chose a charity yourself, e.g. Project Veritas and just give it all to them or split it between them and the devs.
If they cared about charity they would have not changed that
Eh there's probably a ton of bullshit paperwork. Like somebody donates $1 to Save the Snails and they end up doing $10 in IRS paperwork.
But you're right, they could have said "name your charity but if it gets less than X$ then it goes to random other charity."

That would be quite the thumb in the eye to the ... folks ... that run Humble.
I’m going to refer you to the u/Lurker404 comment in this post (although I’m sure their are other sites to sail the high seas).
Not sure I understand.
Nah, just skip their content. Don't give them the mindshare, don't be part of their sphere of conversation.
Spend your valuable and limited time and attention on those worthy of receiving it.
Yaaaarrrrrrrr
Yeah most charities are scams it seems.
May I recommend a science charity? Like some medicine or space shit.
Medicine is usually ok, but what space charities could possibly be?

that’s not the case with all charities like that since several of my friends were involved in such charities in college.
Oh no, now I can only give 15% to "Stop AAPI Hate" or whatever hateful organization they are supporting this week.
Charity?
I just use them to get cheap programming ebooks instead of sending money to Amazon or killing trees.
Just in case anyone needs it, /t/ has tons of good content, mainly on programming but also other topics.
It's being paid for by the job, so it's free.
HB can burn in hell.
First it started with bogus SJW charities like "girls who code"... (blegh)
Then they made some "diversity" bundles (can't quite recall the names).
Since they push diversity (=anti white male propaganda) so much, I got the memo and completely stopped giving them any money.
...You still use Humble?

Not nearly as much as I used to back in its glory days. What are some good alternatives?
