I live in Germany. Around my town a lot of ACAB graffiti have sprung up in recent years. They used to infuriate me. These days I'm more "maybe they have a point".
Cops are just a tool of government. It's the people operating the tool that are the real issue. When you elect leftists and communists to run your city, they now tell the police chief what gets enforced, and what they should let slide. The chief either agrees, or is replaced. Then the police chief passes the orders down to the cops on the streets.
"Ignore antifa, look for white conservatives to arrest." Something like this if you have leftists running your town.
Exactly this. Police are mercenaries for the establishment. Asking them to be anything else is actually unfair and ignores the very real power structure their operate within.
Canadian cops have arrested anti lockdown protestors many times. They're just now refusing to ask every person who's outside for their name, address and purpose for being outside.
Cops actually doing protect and serve are some of the most decent people around.
Cops that are "just following" should learn a little bit about history, especially in Germany. The lockdowns are already in the territory that they should be considered crimes against humanity.
Am I the only one that laughed a bit? he was obviously trying to restrain him as you would someone standing and it wasn't working because of the chair, so in an effort to appear useful he picked up what was the closest thing to him, and it just came off unexpectedly and we all saw him stare at it dumbfounded for a second, then go back to trying to make himself look useful carrying it with him.
If it had a comedic popping sound when it came off instead of the crowd you'd have laughed.

Police are beholden to the rule of law and the constitution, not the whims of politicians.
The Canadian cops of all people are showing some balls unlike the worthless goose-steppers in Germany who are all too afraid of Merkel and her left-wing cult: https://www.theblaze.com/news/canadian-officials-forced-to-backtrack-on-extreme-covid-restrictions-after-police-refuse-to-enforce-them

I think the world needs to bring back the phrase:
Just remember that the same people who put up that graffiti are most likely cheering this on

Fucking pigs.
This is why conservatives need to learn that the blue are not on your side. They serve the ruling class and protect their interests not yours.
I'm in shocked disbelief. This is straight out of the 1930's.
Cops: "Why does everyone hate us? We get no appreciation."
Also cops: engage in opportunistic violence at the first chance against the side that supports them since they don't have establishment backing
I'm glad the Back the Blue simpery is frying up at least.
I CAN'T WHEEL
That's embarrassing arresting a dude that can't even walk and isn't even doing anything
Is there any additional context to this? Seems a bit off why they'd solo out this dude and leave the crowd around him alone.
Shitty if they targeted him for no reason, but if you throw something like a brick (not saying he did) then he can't use the disability as a shield.
He wiped his brow and the police thought it was a Hitler salute
