I got a new Twitch account to get the drops from watching a stream, and I just noticed all the suggestions for it are female streamers with sub 10k viewers, playing games I don't care about.

Those two things are one and the same
True but I think he means more the motive. Twitch just wants simp bucks.
I don't believe Hanlon's bollocks anymore, they know what they're doing. Even if big companies are pulling this kind of thing just to line their pockets I don't see what difference it makes when they're so complicit in breeding the degeneracy that surrounds us.
Hanlon's razor is fair when you don't know what the intention of someone is.
Major corporations have one permanent over-arching interest: money.
So, is the purpose money related, or ideology related, when the interest is money.
Money, duh.
"Major corporations have one permanent over-arching interest: money."
In days past, sure, but I think those days are long gone, it's a willfully ignorant or falsified, leftist viewpoint that the only function of corporations is profit. Whilst I'm sure, to them, number one is still money, the close number two is a lot more insidious.
It's probably not "we want simp bucks" but just "we want bucks". E-thots and their simps generate a lot of bucks, so push them first.
No the admins are legit simplords who chase after the thots hoping to get in their pants. They camp 24/7 in thot streams and discords trying to become the closest beta orbiters and often are some of the biggest gifters/donators under pseudonyms.
I'm not joking or exaggerating.
Money and power are secondary for pretty much all of the power level admins responsible for the day to day stuff, and the higher level ones that weren't axed or absorbed just do whatever the Amazon higher management tells them to.
Interesting.
Do they plan that far ahead?
