Aren't they banning all porn? If they decided on a sitewide rule for No-Porn that is a lot different than banning 1 specific type like you're implying.
Not related to the user's comment about 'understanding' banning loli, but being unhappy with that applied to all porn due to principles. That's not how it all works.
For the record I'm fine with Gab banning porn due to it being considered a risk vector, but they've gone on the record to say some unnecessary shit and I despise everyone pretending otherwise just because anti-censorship options are few and infrequent.
They have an agenda, let's not pretend otherwise even if they have utilitarian value in the service otherwise. They are definitely not "pro-free speech", but they are a lot more free speech than mainstream platforms.
