I’ve become so fed up with the hand wringing about the whole capitol thing. Yes, they shouldn’t have done it and the guilty parties will be arrested. I feel like I’m living in bizarro world to hear the same people who questioned the 2016 election get so upset about questioning the 2020 election. Even worse is that the riots of the summer were applauded but they can’t shut up about last week and now we will be smeared for a long time.

Over the last 6-7 years, it has been a tough pill for me to swallow that bands I used to listen to even further back that had messages like "Fuck the System" and "Fight the Power" actually meant "Fuck the Right-Wing System", "Fight the Right-Wing Power". I always thought that Oligopolies and Government overreach were bad things on principle, not because our team wasn't benefitting.

I honestly got kind of bored the last several days and stopped reading as much. Not because the topics were new, but because there was some sort of expectation that the reception was supposed to be surprising considering recent happenings, and I unfortunately can't emotionally oblige those expectations.
I've had a concept like that in mind for a while now. The Golden Goebbels - the biggest and most successful propagandist(s) of the year would get it. Of course not made out of real gold. But a nice, smiling Goebbels head with a swastika under it. I couldn't come up with a more disgusting and repulsive image to give to them. It also calls them a nazi, anti-semite, propagandist and first and foremost a huge liar. If you have any better ideas for a more humiliating and insulting way of "honoring" these people I'm all ears! It'd be a tough battle between the Democratic Party (since BLM is included in that) and the global news media for the GGs of 2020 IMO.
He was certainly right about one thing - Big Lies, lies so big that you can't even really see them to question them, they're as big and subtle as the curvature of the Earth itself, and the only way to see them is to stand way back and try to fathom a larger picture than you ever thought existed in the first place.
As the situation has passed, I have seen the attitude change somewhat, but not in the direction that the establishment probably wants.
That being, people still think it was over the line, but at the same time people are starting to go "Wait, dont we hate those bastards in DC? Why are we so upset that something might have happened to them again?"
And considering the growing paranoia of the Dems in DC, where they are starting to think that other congressmen and THE NATIONAL GUARD THEY CALLED IN are planning to kill them, I think they may be hearing the same things and realizing if someone had actually done something to them no one would care.
And its making them even more afraid, so they clamp down more, which makes people even angrier and more likely to want to see them burn, which causes them to be more afraid....
If only it would accelerate further... America would be better off seceding at this point. Too many scummy politicians in the high position you can't get rid of.
