All of money and talent that has poured into 'defense' intelligence and technology and weapons of warfare - it was inevitable they would turn it on their own people sooner or later. And the people have been complicit by the addictive nature of the technology luring them.
I think the most fucked up thing that's going to happen in the next few months is the coordinated attempt to destroy Trump and his family as private citizens, and having to see all the useful idiots cheer without even considering the repercussions.

They've positioned themselves where they have to believe whatever the government tells them. How would they ever know if they're being lied to? They aren't allowed to question the narrative. That would be hate speech or peddling conspiracy theories.
