now of all time? not the 5-6 years beforehand? I understand something something two best times to plant a tree something something but c'mon Trump, surely he must have seen the absolute vitriol just a few hours after beating Clinton.
One of his biggest failures I think was just eating all of it. Admirable from a man to man perspective, but many things about their censorship and willingness to cheat needed to be addressed years ago and his failure to do so is likely what cost him.
People do forget that, alas, Trump is an older gentleman and perhaps doesn't fully understand the importance of the internet.
That does play a major part, but that excuse is running its course. The internet has been a major thing for nearing 3 decades and the easy access consumer one at least 15 years.
But the censorship isn't just internet related. Its entirely media, which is older than him and he should far and away know how it works considering his life has been tabloid and entertainment covered for decades.
I supported him until the end, but he left a lot of things hanging which he was the likely last chance to ever protect before the event horizon kicks in.
Setting up new institutions has an upfront cost and lefties will infiltrate sooner or later anyway.
What you want to do is tire them mentally by showing signs of defeat after their huge investment only to spring back up.
Repeal it already, burn everything to the ground.
Don't bother repealing 230. The tech companies are going to need to be completely dismantled. Their offices might need to be taken by force.
As someone working in IT, the idea of a RWDS storming an office and seizing infrastructure fills me with amusement, because knowing what I do of people in my industry they'd all be too spooked to do much about it. It'd be a good shock to the system even if the infrastructure survived and no lasting damage was done.
