In light of recent events it has become clear that the public square is lost. We have no legal recourse due to the 'swamp' and now those who have violated anything resembling the good faith clause in section 230 are grandstanding and showing they can silence anyone at a whim. We have lost our first admendment, plain and simple. Welcome to the roller coaster dip of the decline boys.

Anon needs to tell them that they're all a bunch of faggots.
I'd certainly love to see Texas take the step to becoming an independent republic again. With this, it is literally going to be dangerous to even remain in the USA as a responsible, independent American. I'd never have thought secession would be as good an idea as I have now. But it means people will have to have the balls to stand up for themselves, and we know how that's going right now...
What is there to say?
We have people who have been condoning calls to violence from black separatists and female supremacists that gained millions of likes, suddenly realizing that's against the rules the moment they get a chance to ban their opponents.
I'm not going to fedpost or call for violence.
Instead, I suggest we cripple the machine by exploiting its only weakness. We need our own "Long March". Our own people who push into power then reveal their true colors like feminists have for decades.
4chan just deleted today's Tucker thread mid stream. /scratches head
Who cares about Benedict Carlson?
I like Tucker, and he did a really good show today. Never seen pol remove his daily thread before.
4cuck's rulecucked mods. What else is new.
Ultimately, is it possible we give social media most of its power? Maybe it’s time to let it all go. Delete those accounts, and stop visiting the site. They’ll still exist, but they’ll be about as relevant as Kotaku is now.
In a wider sense, all I can say is consider getting involved locally. That’s the only positive thing I can think of right now. If the majority of pissed off Trump voters start getting involved in local politics, and showing up for State elections, it still has the potential for huge change. Getting election reform in just a few States could make a massive difference, and give a roadmap for other States to follow.
It’s a better option than sitting around and waiting for other people to drive change, which I have been guilty of for far too long.
The public square was always defined as protected under the first admendment, we have now lost that right.
It’s what they’ve always done with new technology: apply the letter of the Constitution rather than the spirit to get around that pesky old document.
What’s that, you store your documents as data like most people do rather than papers? Say goodbye to your rights!
Our government has outsourced tyranny to corporations.
Both need to be held to account and retribution doled out.
do we really still have the first amendment when we have anti BDS laws in most states?
I wonder how many people thought bending over for Israel at every opportunity would somehow result in reciprocal support for Americans?
Won't somebody think of the Islamic terrorists who want their leftist allies to isolate and weaken their intended victim? Fuck off.
You are purposely trying to ignore the actual issue being discussed here which is not about Muslims and not about Palestinians, its about the fact that there are literally laws coming from the government against free speech in America.
Really not relevant right now.
It is relevant. Cause anti BDS laws is against free speech.
But it isn't. People are being censored for basic conservative political opinions now, we really don't need to take a fight that only Palestinians care about.
The discussion isnt about Palestinians, the discussion is about free speech and whether we still have it. . And anti BDS laws IS against free speech.
"Should we deal with that massive cut across your chest?"
"No, I want you to check this scrape on my knee."
There are literal laws coming from the government that are against free speech that is the issue, the subject is about whether we still have the 1st amendment or free speech and when we have literal laws against it THAT is what the issue is which you purposely dont want to understand because you are too fixated on the topic itself rather than the bigger picture
Looks like maximum accelerationism is happening whether anyone wants it or not.
