Today we will discuss which games should win our award for GAME OF THE YEAR.
Please consider what you would like to argue should be the winning item for each of the passing categories.
Consider who you would like to nominate as your electors. You may choose 3 electors to cast votes for you on your behalf. Persuade them as necessary. You may choose yourself once. The top 12 most nominated electors will assemble as our electoral tribunal, and will vote on the final categories. Feel free to message me directly with your nomination, or comment your nominations publicly. The electors are allowed to vote their own conscience.
This will be your last chance to nominate electors. Look over the previous discussions to see who you agree with and think would vote the way you want.

If you are an elector, let me know on what platforms we can discuss our nominations. I have Discord, .win, Saidit, Poal, and Reddit. Alternatively we could use u/acp_k2win 's Ruqqus I think.
Nominating a game of the year for this year is like sifting through raw sewage for diamonds. A horrid proposition and an ultimately fruitless endeavor.
I'll go with whatever the community wants, because my personal nomination is nothing. Games have been that bad this year that the award should be empty chaired.
Not really, and I played most of the "big" releases that I could. Everyone seems to like Ghost of Tsushima, but I don't own a PS4 so I couldn't tell you.
Cold War was disappointing. I don't know why exactly, but it just felt really lethargic and slow paced, even in multi-player. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, but I gave it back to the person who gifted it to me a couple of days ago.
Dirt 5 was okay, but I was expecting a lot more for a next-gen release title. The career mode is the most disappointing shit in a racing game in over a decade, you just go randomly from event to event, no real sense of progression. The whole "create your own events" thing is a good idea, but I'm not creative enough to be able to make anything that good.
F1 2020 was good, at least to me. I liked making my own team and kicking Hamilton's ass. Still, nominating a game where one of the biggest additions was a rip off of Fortnite's Battle Pass system seems incredibly off.
I played the Avengers game when the beta came out, made a post about it. TL;DR : It was repetitive shovelware trying to be carried by the license.
I didn't play any of Ubisoft or EA's games, except for the Hot Pursuit remaster. Got it used just to have it and not support EA. Lots of good memories playing the original. Other than that, I boycotted everything these two companies offered.
I didn't play any PC exclusives, because I didn't have the device to run them.
I'm not going to nominate either of Epic's "new" games (read as : redone versions of their two games they already make bucketloads off, for next gen) because everyone here hates Epic for their Chinese ties...also, they aren't actually new. Epic can say they're new, but they're at least 3 years old now.
Finally, Cyberpunk 2077 was such obvious garbage that I didn't buy in and I'm sure nobody in the history of the world could have expected it to be nominated.
We can certainly discuss dropping categories, there's a recommendation for dropping categories for awards under 4 nominations, though I think we should consider that as just a separate option to vote "drop" or "abstain" since we could argue that the reason there weren't many nominations in that category is because everyone agreed on what should win.
I'm not suggesting dropping the category, I'll vote with what the community wants.
I just feel personally that nothing I had played or seen gameplay of this year was worth nominating.
That's fine. The electors job is mostly for election integrity, more than your actual experiance.
