As a new teacher, a sickening amount of my Masters program was dedicated to how to push SocJus. We spent a week discussing a documentary on Trans people in Hawaii. I sat horrified in a room of English teachers discussing why it’s too problematic to teach Huck Finn, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Great Garant in high school/ It’s a horrifying waste of time and priming terrible teachers. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that I could spite them all afterwards and teach my own curriculum. To unpozz this more people need to enter with that purpose.

Anyone here actually sending a kid to school in this environment? My kid is starting school next year, in one of the most cucked cities in the US. The public schools are cucked, the private schools are cucked, the charter schools are cucked, and the wife and I have jobs that don't allow us to home school.
I'd love to hear some advice from the field on how to protect my kid from SJW indoctrination and the resulting self-hatred. Not sure if I have the stomach to proactively fight with his teachers about every bit of indoctrination he encounters, or whether it's better to just let the teachers do what they want and then totally undermine their message when my kid is home with me.
You and your wife both work so much you can't homeschool? Where do you live and do you really need double income? Can't you move somewhere cheaper? Schools are indoctrination centers that intentionally sabotage the mental and emotional development of your children. Homeschooled kids effortlessly outperform trained school dogs.
We work 40-50 hours per week. Not insane hours, but enough to preclude home schooling. We’re in a city with a very high cost of living, and so we really do need the two incomes. I can’t bring myself to live to the burbs, which I busted my ass to escape in the first place and are going to be 100% full of mindless normie consoomer drones. Somehow living in a big city with 90% proto-commie dipshits and 10% actual free thinkers seems preferable - at least he’s got a shot at crossing paths with the free thinkers. I also can’t bring myself to live in the country, bc frankly I don’t have the skill set and would have zero job prospects.
As far as performance, my kid is really bright and I’m not so concerned about academics. He’ll learn what he needs to learn, if not in school then by pursuing his curiosity on his own. I more just need to figure out how to short-circuit the SJW brainwashing his school is inevitably going to throw at him.
I'm not a fan of homeschooling. But you can definitely tell the difference between kids whose parents take an active role in their education, and those whose don't. Best you can do is arm them with the Socratic method and hope for the best.
Show your child "Feminist cringe compilations" and get him to laugh at the silly crazy women who say stupid shit. Talk to him and help him gradually understand why these silly crazy stupid adults seem like they believe such blatantly false things. Don't be afraid to say "they don't really believe their lies, they just think pretending to believe them will help them trick dumb people" because that's true. I don't know how old he is but introduce him to Jordan Peterson videos. After your kid knows he can laugh at the crazies and understands all the dishonest tricks and "muh equality!" lie, teach him how to hide his power level. And tell him how the system is designed to fuck men over and preach anti-white bullshit. Basically, teach him to think critically and teach him it's okay to ask you for help and take a while to understand the convoluted layers of doublethink.
