The 'spineless' French have been banning headscarves from public schools for over a decade. Many French newspapers, as opposed to zero in US and A, featured the cartoons of the pedophile Muhammad.
It's a left-wing government in France, led by a neoliberal Rothschild banker, who is criticizing Islamism.
I think you will find the French to be far less spineless than you think.
Whenever there's a terror attack they grow some balls for a week or two and then go back to normal.
Even Germany has some bans on head scarves. The only reason that gained any traction is because feminism still kind of trumps Islam.
From what I've read the media in France started to get FAR more politically correct in the last few years, e.g. ostracizing journalists critical of Islam and mass immigration.
They're also still losing suburb after suburb to clans from Muslim countries.
No, in France it is secularism.
Well then I want to see how effective French devotion to secularism is against the full might of Islam and some of its more devout violent followers.

Most Americans here see what terrible state the U.S. is in but we can also see what terrible state Europe is in.
The difference is that Europeans for some reason are incredibly smug about the giant shit sandwich on their plate and feel the need to condescend to Americans that they somehow have it better with no guns for the most part.
I really hope France successfully fights back against Islam but based on their last thirty years of bending over, I don't see any real pushback happening.

Western Europe is a complete shithole. Irredeemable. As is America. The only thing that is remotely positive is that the native population that created the states still makes up a greater proportion than it does in America.

French man Michel Houellebecq concluded in his book Submission that the French will eventually simply submit to Islam, and become Muslims. I know it's fiction, but he clearly thinks it will eventually go that way eventually. One of the points was the westerners were so weak, so willing to placate outside ideologies, that most western ideologies where useless in the fight against secularism, and as bad as Islam was, that it would crush disease of secularism. I honestly can't say he was wrong in his reasoning.
