Humans aren't good by nature, that's the lie of the noble savage. We have grown over thousands of years to realize that the only thing that will ever keep us in check is us. There's a reason women are often far shittier then men, and it has everything to do with the standards placed on men they never had.

What you’re seeing is the existence of evil. That’s what it looks like. It’s envy and resentment and hatred for everything that is vital and beautiful and free. These are the emotions that regularly coalesce into political and cultural movements like communism and leftism. People who cannot abide the natural evolved state of the world must endeavor to subjugate it, usually under the false banner of “compassion” (because no other banner would work).

There is no end date for this struggle. Your children’s children will be fighting the same battle against the same sort of enemy, perhaps with a different coat of paint. It's an eternal battle because it is against the evil endemic to humanity. So long as we have freedom, we will have those who use it to destroy us. And we must always have freedom.
