How do you read these numbers? I'm not usually a betting man, but these odds seem worth throwing a cool hundred at.
It's used to calculate how much you'd win, essentially based on a $100 bet. Negative numbers are the favorite and positive are the underdog.
Underdog odds are pretty easy you get whatever the positive amount of money back as a profit on a $100 bet. Favorite odds are weirder to calculate but it's essentially (your bet/absolute val(odds)) * 100
In the case of Betonline odds: -Bet $100 for a Trump win, if Trump wins you get your $100 back plus $175 winnings, for a total of $275.
-Bet $100 for a Biden win, if Biden wins you get your $100 back plus $50 winnings, for a total of $150. As an extra bonus if you live in the US you get a future of censorship, corruption, edicts, and lies.
-If you bet and lose you get nothing of course.
So people are betting Biden isn't a candidate by election day?
What's the deal with this? I mean it's definitely illegal in the United States. What if you are outside the United States? Do you have to be a citizen of a different country to bet?
