regarding reviews, just pick a good let's play channel... better than any review honestly. You can actually see how the game plays in real time.
all I'm saying is dont assume a text wall is legit.
for instance, if the comments go into detail about problems with the rip, subs, etc., and there are other comments that corroborate (without being straight up copypasta), you can usually gage.
if the comments (if any) are generally favorable, it's usually a worthwhile torrent.
generally speaking, you just have to use a halfway decent torrent site (speaking of...is pirate bay still around? it's been a while...), and the comments will tell you before you even touch the magnet link whether it's worth your time or not.
Now, granted, you have to be able to spot legit vs bs comments (hint: you can't just see a tl;dr comment and assume it's legit, you have to actually read through it and gage the info according to the content of the text wall)
I use one of these when I wanna hook a regular usb device to my phone (it's an android) . as long as your phone supports OTG mode, you can go from that to a usb capable hard drive. (though you may need to plug the hard drive into the wall)
that and the whole people going along with nonsense because it's what's popular in the moment.
love the brother-in-law, though.🤣
by the dog he was screwing...
even if it was as bad as they're making it out to be, there's plenty of natural and (if you really wanna go that route) chemical repellents to keep skeeters at bay...
as an example, my family uses (real) vanilla extract. seems to work pretty well.
I was just thinking of Keeping up Appearances.
...am I overthinking things, or does it feel like that show's producers peeked into the future and tried to warn us of what would cause the nonsense we're dealing with in the west now?
keeping up appearances, red dwarf, basically anything with John Cleese in it...
sounds a lot like Green Acres, a show from around-ish that time from the states.
fair, lol.
honestly, the game kinda sucks, but the gimmick is fun. I'm just in a very immature mental state right now, apparently.
I'm just gonna throw this out there, because the idea grabbed a hold of me, dumb as it is, but have ever you given any thought to a spiritual successor to boogerman?
...yeah, I know I'm retarded😑
I forget what game it was, but somebody sold me a ps3 with it on, and for once in my life I actually bothered to customize the character.
by the time i was done, I was so sick of the game, I never actually bothered to play it...
well, If you ever need ideas, I've absolutely no skills and a handful of game ideas that've been floating around int he back of me head for years, lol.
as for a break on looking at the same code, why not crank out some shitposty game that doesn't need to look as good for a laugh?
hey, you could always go back a few years and play fnaf for the billionth time...
Why do you think they call it Rimworld?
...so he hates mexicans now too?
aww, you just learned how emoticons work☺️
wait till you put an equals sign and a closed parenthesis together... =P
autism
you mispelled "ego".
One of the reasons the original trilogy did so well is because he consulted with a lot of other people who knew what they were doing, and they helped him make the films better by helping to cut scenes that didn't work or reworking scenes, etc.
By the time he did the special editions, though, the fans had inflated his ego to such a degree that he basically said "fuck all that, I'm going to do this the way I wanted to, I'm a genius filmmaker, I know how to make a film work..."
easy.
lucas milked the franchise damn near dry(find me a span of more than a year or two since star wars first appeared ont he silver screen where there wasn't some star wars property or tie-in being pushed like mad), and then he sold the rights to disney, who tried to remake it in their own image, and the cash cow died of exhaustion.
Not to mention the death of Kevin Conroy...
it's more than that; they're trying to keep us at each others' throats while they sell us down the river a piece at a time...
with a few niche exceptions, I feel like video game reviewing has become largely obsolete. the Lets Play crowd does a much better job of showcasing the good and the bad of a game in a way that gives you a feel for the quality of the game.
Heck, even if you're avoiding spoilers, you can watch only part of a let's play, and see the user's reactions in real time, then switch off before the plot gets going too far, especially if you watch reviews from multiple let's players...
