For better or worse, we're gonna have to lean on the Indie scene for a while for decent games... yeah, i know the graphics are subpar and a lot of it is clout-chasing bullshit, but there are some real gems out there...

Give it time, new studios will rise over time as indies collab and slowly form their own studios...

Not the same genre, but 7 days to die is pretty good in spite of being in "alpha" for almost a decade, lmao.

I'm thinking either moderation has been put on hold, or else the Mods are in panic mode right now, afraid to do anything for fear of being fired...

Have the TOS, Community guidelines, etc. changed any in the last twenty four hours? I haven't kept up with twatter, so I don't know.

The problem is he keeps trying to call O'keefe a puppet of rich companies, but he can't do it without discrediting himself, because of the rich companies supporting the DNC which o'keefe points out everytime he goes there.

In reality he doesn't have a leg to stand on, but he's trying to shame o'keefe for things his own 'side' does all the time.

true. Look at the way he gets confused and struggles to respond when O'Keefe fires back at everyone of his points, pointing out the flaws in his argument.

To be fair, a few decades ago, I probably would have been just as bad on global warming.

I don't think he even understands what he's saying, honestly... It's pretty clear he hasn't thought out his position on these issues. he just knows what somebody told him, and he keeps dogmatically repeating that...

is it weird I actually feel bad for this poor, gullible sucker? You know these aren't his ideas, someone fed him this bullshit.

They were very primitive, yes.

Think about lcd watches. They used similar concepts to construct the graphics for anything that moved and put a static background in place for everything else.

They weren't unplayable, but it was probably the most basic version of whatever game they might be trying to rip off.

But you could buy one for Five bucks at the grocery store, and the commercials were amazing, so everybody had them.

yeah, but even the gameboy couldn't kill the tiger, that's how amazing their marketing was...

Oh god, the fucking R-zone.

They made that piece of shit sound so cool...

You can criticize "Extreme" advertising all you want, but it fucking worked...

This thing is proof of it, because I wanted a damn r-zone.

Honestly, the only ad better than the r-zone was probably crossfire...😂

doesn't surprise me. They're cheap as hell to make and kids will buy them with the right marketing...
