The problem with voting is that the "woke" brigade would easily infiltrate. I think its better a system where you select those based on some criteria, and if you people think they are off they can complain or comment. It's not ideal but just look how well community driven content works in things like wikipedia..

It depends on what is your goal. My goal would be to help people and provide them a service, not to create a cool webapp.

Of course that is how it works, if you have 5 movies, 3 of which are super woke, 1 which is a bit woke and one that is not woke at all, and they all get similar amount of people watching it, then the market knows that being woke impacting their revenue. Now if people would filter out woke movies and the non woke ones got more revenue, the market would adjust.

I understand that might be the case, but this is just ensuring the current market only promotes woke stuff. If those who don't like it consume less and less, they will have to make even more woke stuff since its the only thing people consume.

I think those could be separate "ratings" that could be provided, so if everyone agrees there is underage sexualization then you get a 100% score, if no one agrees 0%.

You don't have to watch it, but thinking that hiding and not consuming media is the solution will only lead to even more wokeness, which in turn will ensure younger generations are even more indoctrinated. By being able to filter you can consume media that you like, promoting it and ensuring more of the like is made.

You could use it the other way round, if you sort by the least woke, you would have what I think you refer. If woke people want to use it to find the wokest movies they would like to watch, good for them. The point is that there is a new category or rating on movies but no one is willing to express it in a way we can filter based on it.

To start it can be something generic, but with time you could have different "criterias" as well, similar to how right wing tomatoes does. Then you can do more fine grained filtering.

I don't see it like that. Wokeness is simply political propaganda or 'short ads' inserted into a movie. Why not filter out movies that have too much propaganda? I might watch a tv show with 2 commercial breaks in an hour, but not one with 1 per minute.

I find RWT too hard to use, there is no way to search by tags such as "least woke scifi movies from 2020" and a lot of them just rely on reading reviews, no "score" that one can use to filter

Exactly, if we were in a reverse situation this would be all over the place. If you had to imagine such a site, to what other site would you think it should look like? I was thinking something where you could list per tags (such as year, type of movie, etc) and rate movies based on how woke they are. Then you can either search for a movie you want to check or just sort by unwoke and rating (from 1 to 10) for your tags for a movie you have not seen yet.

But this is too much work, I just want something quick and easy. Ideally also to search based on latest movies which are not woke
