Lately I find it necessary to find out before watching a movie if they want to tell a story or just plainly sell you their political agenda to avoid wasting my time. The best ways I have to try and filter out some of them before hand is checking rotten tomatoes scores (if the audience is much higher than the critics this is a good sign, the opposite a very bad sign) or looking at some reviews and searching for a couple of keywords (people complaining about it inserting politics, etc).
Don't get me wrong, it's not about not having politics or political messages, I'm fine with stories with political messages but not with political messages masqareiding as stories.
I'm thinking of building a website where people can "rate" as woke or not movies since I crave an easy way to filter them out or find those movies which might be unconstrained by the religious restrictions of wokeness, does this exist? If not would people be interested in it?
But this is too much work, I just want something quick and easy. Ideally also to search based on latest movies which are not woke
thats commie talk, purge that from your mindset
Answering 6 simple questions is too much work?
Quit watching modern movies. Easiest answer. What acp_k2win suggested isn't a lot of work at all. It's, at most, 5 minutes on IMDb.
Dude just stop watching bullshit and doing something productive ffs. Do you meditate daily? Lift? Eat healthy? Spend time in nature?
You don’t have time for watching propaganda at worst, or the same story (aka a heroes journey) told over and over in a different format.
Don't ask questions you don't want answered then. You wanted to know how to tell if movies might be woke, FromTheShadows was generous enough to give you a simple checklist that is the quick and easy option.
Then watch Chinese films (they hate the gays/lesbos so you don't have to worry about that bullcrap, and they hate black people, so you NEVER have to worry about see Tyrone or some Joggers ruining the experience).
Watch Russian films (they also hate the gays/lesbos so you don't have to worry about the nonsense, and I don't think I've ever seen a Jogger in any of their past or recent films. They make plenty of action/war movies, too, so if you enjoy those definitely check them out).
South Korean films are pretty cool, too. They make some really good dramas/thrillers. Be wary, though, while they don't usually promote feminism or interracial stuff, they will occasionally have some of that Rainbow Reich bullcrap, but usually that's the entire theme of the movie and not just thrown in for agenda-pushing. So most South Korean films are relatively safe.
Swedish films are also a pretty safe bet on the action front, they make some good ones, and you can sometimes find some decent French action movies. The problem with France, though, is that there is frequent Joggers being made present and sometimes interracial relationships. But I haven't actually encountered any random Rainbow Reich nonsense in their films.
