Practically everyone were on the "religious Nazi extremist" side during the siege and especially during the trial (when Randy Weaver's advocate didn't even actually defend him as just attacked the state), including mainstream media. The NYT called it the feds' "PR disaster".

The said defender when first meeting his client:

"My name is Gerry Spence" I began. "I'm the lawyer you've been told about. Before we begin to talk I want you to understand that I do not share any of your political or religious beliefs. Many of my dearest friends are Jews. My daughter is married to a Jew. My sister is married to a black man. She has adopted a black child. I deplore what the Nazis stand for. If I defend you I will not defend your political beliefs or your religious beliefs, but your right as an American citizen to a fair trial." His quiet answer was, "That is all I ask."

And then he demolished the prosecution by just attacking their lies, and rested his case. And so Weaver got convicted of only his failure to appear in court in the original shotgun case, and then he and the family settled their own lawsuit "against the United States and its employees" for a couple million.

The FBI sniper shot the woman with baby when called to the siege. The kid died in the initial shootout with the USM (chance encounter with the dudes who have been spying on them for weeks).

Sammy shot once and then was shot in the back running away. There was a family friend with him who was also shooting, didn't know at whom at this moment (the cops were in military/hunter camoflage).

Their bunch were crazy white separs and the kid was a skinhead trained by his ex-Green Beret dad, but he didn't hit anyone before running. It was the guy with him who killed a cop. He eventually surrendered along with Randy and his daughter.

I'm not in the UK and yet it was promoted to me.

Almost replies are very negative (only 1 positive), about a third talking specifically about either "negroes" (murzyn) or "niggers" (czarnuch).

No thanks, too few negroes.

The historical Popes would do things like holding gay orgies or openly worshipping Satan.

But anyway, https://apnews.com/article/archive-fact-checking-2283400002 is a great headline.

I'm not quite sure it is actually sentient, might be a case of false advertising.

There's a torrent with like 1 TB of BDs (I shaved it down to 300 GB after checking everything). Great stuff.

You're right, in a way.

Unlike previous aid packages that addressed immediate military needs, this new package focuses on medium- and long-term military assistance that will take months or even years to land.

The Pentagon emphasized this large new commitment doesn’t presuppose an outcome to the grueling conflict, which technically started in 2014 with Russia’s annexation of Crimea.

“This type of package does not presume any particular outcome of a conflict in Ukraine,” Colin Kahl, undersecretary of defense for policy, told reporters on Wednesday. ”So, for example, if the war continues for years, this package is relevant. If there is a cease-fire or a peace settlement, this package is still relevant, because Ukraine needs the ability to defend itself and deter future aggression.
